Perempuan Melayu Terakhir

First time ever in my 31 years, I went to shop for my baju raya material on my own.Went to Jakel, Jalan T.A.R all by myself for my baju raya shopping adventure. And guess what? I walked aimlessly in the 4 stories building without a single clue of what I was suppose to look for. It has always been a mommy-daughter adventures all this while. My mom is my biggest critic when it comes to material for baju kurung. She knows what colour suits my skin, what design gives a slimmer silhouette (though she knows its almost impossible to fake this body of mine. hahahahha) and what not. But this time around, all I have is me, myself and I. I'm not only going to decide for myself but also for Mr.Hubby and little diva. Ready for the crazy-choice-of-color guys? :p

I went through floor by floor to see what they have to offer. Gosh!!!! It's crazy! They got me even more confused and clueless. But being a minimalist :p and a person who loves simplicity to the max, I got stuck at the cotton area. Fell in love with all the modern and beautiful designs. Moreover, I think cotton is the best material for any mommies who have to deal with a 3 year old that uses mommy's baju kurung as her hankie.And when Hari Raya falls in summer every year :p, no doubt, cotton is the best choice! I ended up buying a piece of a grey color (decided to have grey as our theme colour this year) cotton material for me and little diva. The exact same design. We gonna make a cute duo this Hari Raya, little diva!

 

 

Tried to look for a matching material for daddy's baju melayu, but to no avail. The colour that I wanted was out of stock. It's okay. Daddy's is not as complicated as us! Approaching Hari Raya, there would be loads of cheap baju raya for daddy. hahahahaha. Cruel mommy!

Check out this zebra print chair that I found in Jakel. Gorgeous, ain't it??? Asked for the price, but they just won't sell it to me. If only I could take this home too!

New members of my shoe rack




Got 2 pairs of flats at Brands Outlet, Ikano for only RM90. Glad with the deal considering that I'm a fastidious shoe buyer (I want a gorgeous and most comfortable one at the most reasonable price). And they have size 10! Woot...woot!

 

Mommy's Mannequin

On 1 random weekends, we went to One Utama for a casual family outing. As usual, I'll make it a point to drop by at my favourite outlets. When I passed by the GAP Kids Outlet, I saw the mannequin wearing a striped-ballerina like-long sleeve-dress that has really captured my eyes. Mommy went head over heel for the dress and want Iman girl to wear it soooo badly.

I bawak Iman masuk and lucky me....mood dia ok la plak aritu. Masuk fitting room terus try it on. She got very excited and started checking out herself in the mirror. Hahahahaha. Diva gilersss!!!

Dah syok sangat try baju baru, Iman terus tak nak bukak baju tu. Hahhahahaha.....this is my favourite part cos I really fell in love with the dress. And now, ada la sebab mommy nak bagitau daddy kenapa mommy kena beli baju tu. Boley tak? "Inila yang dinamakan FAMILY PLANNING"( REF : 3 Abdul).hehehehhe

Memburu tudung

Uishhh....dahsyat bunyi title post kali ni. Macam susah sangat je nak cari tudung...sampai nak kene buru. Yela....Im a bit fussy in choosing stuffs that involve my money. Not only tudung, beg and kasut pun sama. Sebab tula kena panggil memburu. Shopping requires skill. Just like hunting:)

Bukan senang nak dapat kesempatan outing ngan mommy poko sorang ni. So, since I wanted to revamp my tudung collections, I invited my mom and lil sista to accompany me to Jalan T.A.R. Memang tak pernah pegi sorang2 pun kat sini. Tak syok la kan. Pengkritik tetap mesti kena ada:)

As planned, we took off quite early. Nak elakkan panas la konon. Tak payah la deme! Malaysia ni dah memang panas. Kul 9/10 pun dah terik semacam. The place was still peaceful when we arrived. We were marching very quickly to get the best deal. Early birds catch the best worms. hehehehheheheh

Tengok la fashionista/diva sorang ni....tetap kelesssss menyorong Iman Nadyne. Ala-ala artis Hollywood kata dia, Kan dah macam trend kat sana. Anak dah jadi must-have accessory. WALAUPUN!! Lucky us...Iman behaved well. Dia lepak je dalam stroller tu. Maybe cos it was really hot outside. She prefers sitting under the cover. Ishh...if I muat pun, I nak dok dalam stroller tu. Tak syiok ker? Orang tolak lagi....ada cover lagi:)

Ish la mami jarum 2 orang ni....beli gelang koooo????Can u see how we kept Iman entertained? Mummy Yaya got her chocolate. Iman's favourite! Baguihhh punya rasuahhh. Tuu yang dia dok senyap kat dalam kegheta tu...hahahahhahaha. Tapi....sTuan Sardiq Sigaraga tak tau yang Abdul Wahub lebig pandai dari Abdul Wahab dan lebih pandai dari Abdul Wahib. hahahahahah. Lepas abis je chocolate tu, Iman became sugar high and refused to sit in the stroller. hAA.....padan muka kau Labu! Bergili-gilir la kitaorang dukung dia.

Look at the colourful arrays of tudung. Pening kepala. Juling mata teman nak memilihnyer.... But I was not looking for this type anymore. I just needed to TRANSFORM. After sometimes of this Ekin's tudung, I get pretty tired of it. So...what kind of style Im putting on now? Tunggu....Zasssss

Eh....sapa yang beli tudung ni? Biasala orang pompuan. Mana boley tengok bagi kritik jer kan. Mestila nak tumpang semangkuk. Baru la supportive. hahahahahha. I'll share with all of you my new style in the coming post okay. Daaa......

IKEA with family....again?

After being married for 5 years and have my own little family, I cherish every opportunity that I get to spend time with my sibblings and family more than ever. Im sure most of you are. There's nothing else more special than being able to shop,have dinner,or even do nothing but just being around them. Macam semalam, since hubby ada hal dengan Liverpool club dia, I took the opportunity to be with my family. Kitaorang jalan2 kat IKANO, CURVE and IKEA. Again IKEA? I can never have anough of IKEA:)

We started off jalan2 kat IKANO. My very talented brother nak cari baju. He needs lots of shirts since he's currently on his college tour. He's a singer by the way. Ever heard of HAYAD duo? My favourite duo and Iman's, of course. Iman tak bley stop dengar uncle Apit nyer TD(CD actually). hahahhaha. Sampai pening kepala kadang2 ayik dok repeat lagu yang sama, since HAYAD is still in the progress of recording their full album. Dengar "single" deorang je la sekarang ni. Tapi Iman and my brother punyer pasal, LAYANNNNN je.

Tapi macam biasa la. Orang lain yang aim nak shopping, orang lain yang shopping lebih. Orang perempuan la katakan. My mother and my baby sista yang lebey nya.

Khusyuk betul cari barang. Nasib baik time ni Iman tido. I boley la jadi paparazzi jap. I didn't get anything for myself. I'd rather save my money for my new house's stuffs:) (Alasan je tu sebenarnya. Yang iye nyer, I've grown out of size. Takda mood nak shopping. Kene slim own dulu :p)

Abis beli barang, pit stop kat IKEA's curry puff. They love it to death. I don't like it so much. Tak kene sangat dengan tekak I yang sememangnya very particular when it comes to food. The best curry puff is stil my mom's. My brother kat atas ni la HAYAD singer. Fans dia banyaknye girls. Tu yang girlfriend makan hati tu. huhuhuhuhu.

Tengok budak kecik ni. Bukan mulut je makan aiskrim, muka dia pun nak makan aiskrim. Dia geng dengan atuk la ni. Partner in crime dia makan aiskrim. Tapi gambar atuk dia I tak amik la, cos atuk dah tak cute. Wakakakakakaak.

Dah abis makan2, jalan2 kat IKEA. My sister nak cari cermin untuk bilik dia. Tengok la betapa seriousnyer masing2 dalam misi mencari cermin. Macam nak gado pun ada tengok muka sorang2, especially my mom (the financier). Sure pilihan my sister tu dah burst her budget.

Masa ni hubby dah settle dengan Liverpool dia. So, he joined us straight kat IKEA. Tengok la tu..........dengan baju merah Liverpool dia. Muka bangga....WALAUPUNNNNN!! Nak pose pun kat dinding merah gaks. Kosserr u ols!

We did it less than 45 minutes. Biasala....bila jalan dengan my dad, kena to the point. Tak boley lenggang2 kangkung. He doesn't like waiting. So, my mom and my sister memang end up beli cermin je la dalam IKEA ni. Tak sempat nak tengok barang lain. Takpe... next time, Inshaalah.
