Busy Bee!

Alhamdulillah....got my house keys yesterday. Called the grills contractor to take necessary measurements so that it can be done without further delay. You know, the house gotta be grilled first for safety. Once the safety matter is taken care of, I'll start packing my stuffs and despatch it gradually to the new house. Ahhh.....I can't wait!

Pardon me if my postings from now onwards are going to be dry, but this is one of the highlights of my life! I'm moving into my own house that I bought with my hard earned money. Hell yes I'm proud and happy about it, though it is such a little place to some people.

Frankly, I don't have that much money to immediately renovate or turn the house into a mansion. If I had, I would have settled down for a bungalow! So, I'm just going to do the basic stuffs like wiring, piping, grills and kitchen. What's the hurry when the house is mine, rite? I'm just gonna take it nice and easy....

I'm currently busy running up and down searching stuffs for the house. Can you imagine doing all these with a 3-year-old? I got exhausted and irritated easily, so to say. Ms.Iman Nadyne is obviously not interested in lights, fans, sinks, etc and she must be thinking "WTH has these things got to do with me?". hahahahahhaa. Anyhow, it was very sweet to discover that she was also excited about the new house.She was running around and when we got into the masterbedroom, she asked me " This your yoom(room), mommy? You want this yoom(room)? I buy for you okay, I buy this yoom(room) for you." Comical Iman! She knew mommy loves the room and offered to buy the "yoom" for mommy! She also went to check out her room and went, "This my yoom(room). Where is toilet, mommy?". I'm not sure why would she care about the toilet at the first place :p

Next week onwards and the whole month of June is going to be hectic for me. Physically, emotionally and most importantly, FINANCIALLY. I'm telling you....it is not easy doing all these with a very restricted budget, but I am not complaining. At least I have a place to call "home" now. My public holidays and weekends are all taken up. Hopefully it's all worth it!

Went to check out Alam Budiman's progress last weekend since a friend of mine a.k.a my soon-to-be-neighbour told me that our house developer has requested the bank to release the final payment, which also means, they have gotten the CF. Wehoooo!!!

Yesss...as I was expecting...all the houses have been completed and they were not locked, to my surprise. I can now enter my house and have a good look at it, since all the while I only had the chance to view the show unit, which of course was decorated nicely. And the show unit played an improtant role in my final decision, to be frank. hehehehehe. I'm a VISUAL person. (That's a bit of what I have learned in the "science & art of persuasion". I will share with you more about it. It's really interesting). In short, I was quite satisfied with the house, since I am a GENERAL person (again...a bit of  "science & art of persuasion") unlike Mr.Hubby, who is a DETAILED guy ( I'm sorry! Again...from "science & art of persuasion"). He was so determined to list out his dissatisfactions towards the developer during the key handover ceremony soon.

And checkout mommy's hidden talent. Not bad, ey. Thanks to my cute and spontaneous little model, Iman Nadyne. She had so much fun posing for mommy's new love and glee!

GLAM up your house

Semenjak nak masuk rumah sendiri ni, I banyak jugak la study magazine2 ID. Yela, cuci2 mata and cari idea. Sambil2 berangan la...of course. Yang I selalu beli macam Anjung Seri, Impiana and ID. Previously, "Renovation" by Eric Leong was a good one. Very informative and useful. But I'm not sure if the magz is still in the market. Susah skit nak cari. Maybe only at selected book store kot.

But when I was in IKANO yesterday, as usual,I will drop by at one of the magazine shop. I was strucked by the cover of this "GLAM Deko" magazine. Memang GLAM sangat! I loiikeee! Sebab suka sesangat dengan cover tu, I terus sambar satu.


Balik umah, lepas Iman tido and after booboo left for his Johannian's Reunion, I started flipping through each page of the magazine. Again....I was mesmerized by each house's ID in the magazine. I couldn't resist but to read the stories behind each house's deco. Sangat mengkhayalkan. Bravo GLAM Deko editorial team! You have captured my eyes right from the first page till the end. I didn't miss a single thing in the magazine.


Though benda2 yang ada kat dalam magazine tu semua pricey, since nama pun GLAM kan, but its very inspiring. Tak semestinya nak kena beli yang sebiji macam dalam magazine tu kan. What is more important is gather as much ideas as you can and make it your own according to your budget. So, to those yang nak cari idea for house ID, I really recommend this magazine. As for me, I look forward to next month's edition. I'm a fan!

Sofa hunting on Saturday

Lovely Sunday to all....

Cerita sikit pasal semalam kat IKANO. Dari kul 12 sampai kul 5 kat situ. Ishh...tiap2 mingu pegi situ pun tak boring ke? Kenapa I pegi IKANO lagi? Tempted by MACY'S promotion that I saw in The Star newspaper that morning. I nampak dia tulis beli barang @RM10. Nak gak nengok2 apa yang RM10 nye? Even though dah tau dah itu semua propa je. Memang suka kena tipuu. Padan muka kau syaitonnnnn..

Budak Iman Nadyne ni , as usual la....bila nak berjalan jer, macam pelarian. Abis satu umah punyer barang dia angkut. And as a mommy to her babies, she will at least carry one of them anywhere she goes. For now, Iman has 2 babies. So, mana 2 dia pegi, sure bawakla anak-anak kesayangan dia ni. Betul2 la ibu mithali kan.hahhahahaha.

Even I selalu pujuk dia not the bring the baby, but most of the time ...this happens :

Mommy : Baby wants to sleep in the car la Iman. Sian dia. Biar dia tinggal sini eh.

Iman : Baby nak sleep ker? sambil pegang muka baby dia dekat2

Iman : Dia tak nak sleep mommy. Dia nak itut Iman

Mommy : Pandai la awak. Then...you carry the baby ok.

Iman : Baby tak nak Iman,mommy. Dia nak kat mommy.

hukhukhukhuk. Pandai betul la nak mengenakan mommy. Sibuk sangat nak bawak anak, tapi tak nak pegang.

Tengok la tu....mommy and baby sama2 dok dalam stroller.hahahahah

Daddy and mommy Iman and her baby. Iman says her baby name is Iman Nadyne. hahaha.

Nsib baik la throughout our nego kat Macy ni Iman lek2 jer. Tak macam selalu. Maybe sebab dia still fresh kot. Sampai2 jer, terus pegi Macy. And as usual, Iman had fun testing all the sofas. Ishh...sofa umah kita nanti jangan pijak macam tu yer darlinggg.

We spent about 2 hours @Macy and RMxxxXxx. Ish...terkena gaks. But the the furnitures,cushions and curtains are seriously darrrlinggg. Must go more often to get ideas la. So...did we settled down with Macy's sofa??? Tungguuuuuuu......

Abis Macy, jalan2 cari makan pulak. Lalu pulak kat uncle ni lagi. Adusss....I should have known.

Inila hasil tangkapan Iman buat ke-sejuta kalinyer... Ish2. Iman kalau lalu sini, sure nak mengayakan uncle balloon tu.

Saturday with family

Apa nak buat Hari Sabtu ni eh? As usual, selagi tak masuk rumah baru, our "survey,comparing and deciding" project will still go on. Tapi arini tak bley pegi banyak tempat la, cos hubby ada hal dengan LIVERPOOL clubnye. Ermmm,,,,sibuk je. I always tease him about being the REDS. But hubby, being him, just keep it cool and said, "Even if Liverpool is the lowest in the table, I'll still be supporting them". Ohhh....touching plak dia. Ni ala2 "till death do us part" la ni. Chehhh.

Meh I tolong promo kan sikit club u ni. So those REDS yang interested nak join him, u can call him @012-9341349. Kalau nak register je...........jangan call sebab nak berkenalan plak. Ahaks. Jealous ke nyah? Koserrr.

I jalan2 area Kota Damansara and Sg.Buloh nak cari kitchen cabinet. Mana la tau boley dapat yang harga terus dari kilang tu kan. So, I ended up at Wira Kitchen. Discuss dgn consultant tu pasal design yg kitaorang nak, and dia pun bai la quotation. Iman was very restless throughout the nego. Yela....kitchen cabinet is obviously non of her business kan. hihihiihih. Sorry Iman, You have to bear with this till the day we settle down in our new place.

Habis discuss pun dah around 12pm, so we hit straight to PIZZA HUT for lunch. Lama dah tak makan pizza hut. Yelah, Dominos lagi murah and sedap kan. Tapi, semalam, craving pizza hut sampai. Lagipun, hubby kata Pizza dah murah sekarang. Hmm....bagus la kan. When there is a competition, baru la tau nak rasa threatened. Macam kerajaan kita sekarang la. Nak kene gasak selalu by the opposition and the people. Baru la ada kesedaran. Tapi, takdala kesedaran sangat. Poket tetap perlu dipenuhkan. Ishhh....lets not start la. Nanti tak bley stop la.

Tengok la how happy Iman was. Not sure why,but most probably because mommy and daddy is available 24hours on weekends:)

Iman takkan miss nyer playground yang kat luar tu. She loves it. Yela...jarang pergi kan. Nak pujuk dia balik memang masalah la. Script standard memujuk mommy :

Mommy : Mommy will bring you to playground again on Sunday ye.....
Iman : Okay

2 down, 2 more steps to victory

10am today has been a step closer to my dream in owning my dream house. Alhamdulillah....semuanya lancar. The signing ceremony happened @ my office in PJ. Hubby and I sign punya la banyak paper mengalahkan pak menteri. hahahahha. I dah tak larat nak baca apa yang ada dalam agreement tu. Berpuluh2 muka surat.Sudahnyerr, I main saaaiiinnnn je. Harap2 nye ok la .

Bila dah maju lagi setapak ni, maknanya makin dekat lah ketikanya di mana nak kene start bayar interest kat bank sementara nak tunggu umah siap tahun depan. Mana pulak nak cekau duit ni? Nak bayar sewa rumah sekarang lagi, nak bayar interest rumah baru lagi. Feninnnnnn.

I have to start doing some math now. Macam mana cara nak tambah income and at the same time kurangkan monthly expenses. Macam nak pecah kepala ni pikir. Dulu masa belajar business math or even stats kat uni pun tak sesusah ni. Maybe cause they were all virtual numbers kan. This is like REALLLLL.Anyway, I have a rough idea on how to reduce my expenses. So, first thing first.

I'll start by surveying a new day care centre for Iman Nadyne. Kesian dia. Lepas ni dah takde lagi la pergi umah nenek dia pagi and petang. I pun makin lama makin tak jumpa la mak bapak I.Huwaaaaaaa:((( But seriously,RM500 is too expensive for me now. I seriously have to consider a new place for Iman:( I sedih gilerrr actually. Iman is very happy now, being close to her cousins and families, since nursery dia sekarang kat bawah condo my parents je. So, pagi2 I hantar dia kat umah parents dulu. Petang pun, my mom akan amik dia dulu before I sampai umah lebih kurang pukul 7. So, even if I have to work till late pun,I tak payah risau pasal Iman, because she's in my mother's good hand.

How I wish I dont have to choose. But this is life. Its always about making the right choice. Especially when it comes to our financial situation. Bila keadaan sesak dan terdesak tu, kadang2 selalu merungut and mulala terkeluar ayat2 macam "Kalaula aku kaya....., or Kenapa aku tak kaya?" Ayat Quran tweeted this today: "Syaitan menjanjikan(menakut-nakuti)kamu dengan kemiskinan dan menyuruh kamu berbuat kejahatan"(2:268). "Ya ALLAH, aku berlindung denganmu dari segala kejahatan dan godaan syaitan. Kau permudahkan segala urusanku di dunia dan akhirat". Ameennn

Monday Blues

Assalamualaikum.....boring betul la Monday ni. Takda mood nak buat apa2 pun. Nasib baik la I tengah dalam mood nak survey2 barang2 untuk rumah baru. That keeps me going. Ishh....cerita pasal rumah baru ni, pening kepala.Rambang mata satu, sakit kepala nak buat budget satu lagi. And being married to a guy that has attention to detail, semua nye kene tengok. Dari sekecil2 benda, macam switches to all that matters,like lightings,paint,furniture for the house.

I still remember this particular feelings vividly. Masa kitaorang first time nak menyewa rumah after being married for 1 year. Punyerla excited, sampai selang sehari pergi menziarah IKEA. Ada je benda nak beli. Itu rumah sewa. Ini rumah sendiri. Lagila excited kan! But this time its very much different. Bawak the little one is never easy. With her tagging along, benda yang boleh siap within 1 hour prolongue sampai 3 hours.

Nak tergelak bila ingat balik perangai dia kat IKEA semalam. Semua katil and sofa dia nak try. Sampai kitaorang dah tak larat nak layan, tinggalkan je dia kat atas katil tu. Semua orang tengok Iman Nadyne, sebab ingatkan dia budak yang dah hilang mak bapak. Padahal, kitaorang ada dok menyorok kat belakang2 almari, nak tengok gelagat dia. Sikit pun dia tak kisah kat kitaorang. Bertuah punye anak:))

Im sure my life journey will be full of fun from now until kitaorang start masuk rumah baru tu nanti. Harap2,ALLAH permudahkan segala2nya. Inshaallah
