Hijabi Fashion Police

You have been FINED , hijabis!

Covering and yet showing skin

Tight & see-through skirt

Wearing short sleeve and showing skin. Rambut kat belakang pulak terkeluar

Wearing leggings and showing shape of the legs

Body hugging outfit that's showing every curves of their body

I am neither perfect nor pious (You know how people like to say, "Alah....macam la dia tu betul sangat pakai tudung"). Nonetheless, Im trying and learning to improve myself and cover my aurah as perfect as I could. And this post is not about judging others but as a reminder to myself and also other hijabis on how we often misunderstood between "covering aurah" , "wearing hijab/tudung" and "to be fashionable in hijab". I mean...of course we can be trendy and fashionable in hijab, but it has to be done appropriately and accordingly.

Surah An-Nur, Verses 30 and 31
'And Say to the believing women to lower their gaze (from looking at forbidden things), and protect their private parts (from illegal sexual acts) and not to show off their adornment except only that which is apparent (like both eyes for necessity to see the way, or outer palms of hands or one eye or dress like veil, gloves, head-cover, apron), and to draw their veils all over Juyubihinna (i.e. their bodies, faces, necks and bossoms) and not to reveal their adornment except to their husbands, or their fathers, or their husband's fathers, or their sons, or their husband's sons, or their brothers or their brother's sons, or their sister's sons, or their (Muslim women) (i.e. sisters in Islam), or the (female) slaves whom their right hands possess, or old male servants who lack vigour, or small children who have no sense of feminine sex. And let them not stamp their feet so as to reveal what they hide of their adornment. And all of you beg Allah to forgive you all, O believers, that you may be successful'

Above all....Allah Taala knows best!

Sister do not worry what others are doing unless they are influencing you. Yes we should seek modesty but there are no specific laws that ask we wear only dull colors. Read your Quran without prejudice and without seeking words from someone else to tell you what God said. God has made it easy for us to live and for the Book(s) to be understood. Im not to say that we shouldnt be covered but we shouldnt be judgemental.. (AT LEAST THEY TRY) for me Im probably one of the fat girls that have no choice but to not leave my house because anything I wear shows curves.. (which I dont think any man really finds attractive).

But ill say again re-read your quran without prejudice and influences of culture and find true meaning of "Hijab"...

btw if im wrong to the Hell-fires i go...

and fact- take a look on some of the south asian countries that are muslim their dress-code is haram according to your sleeve rule...(GODs Words come first.. and God only)
