Saturday filled with love and food

It has been a day filled with love(families & friends) and food so far. And trust me, it is not over yet. Not just yet! All day long...baby! All day longggg!!!!

Resting myself for now after what I refer as a killa lunch at uncle's 60th birthday today. Lamb beriyani (loads of lamb), Soto (noodels+soup+chicken+bergedel) , profiteroles , brownies, cheese cake and teh tarik. What was that, woman? Are you taking a day off from work and also your diet plan? Owh, puhleasse. Gimme a break. I'm just enjoying my weekend, people. Only today! Diet regime will resume on Monday. Full stop!

When I said all day long, it means....the food galore continues tonite. I can't wait to gather with our family's BFF for dinner. Why I call them family's BFF? Because mothers, fathers and children get along very well. We are just lucky people, aren't we? How often a husband gel so well with wife's good friend's hubby? Hands down..that alone sounds very complicated! They are the sweetest and most welcoming people I've ever known. Shahril is going to cook chicken chop, salad and wedges for dinner. How's that? Drooling, are you? I promise you, Ki, I'll make it up to you as soon as I move into my new house, okay. Chicken rice, just as you wish! This I promise you!

Can't believe it has been 12 years since Niki and I first met in Uniten. She has always been sincere, helpful , thougthful , and most importantly...my shoulder to cry on. It's also amazing how she reads me like an open book and how we love the same celebrities (though Remy Ishak is not mine :p and that particular singer is going to be our SECRET till the end of time, Ki. Don't you worry. hahahahah). The beauty of our friendship is, though we don't get to hang out that often ( once or twice in 2 months time? Tried our best to spend quality time with each other despite out hectic schedule with work and family life. ) but we have never lost sight of each other. 12 years have passed and looking forward to many more years. We are going to grow old together, Ki! Love ya, woman!
